This is a great band, and I hope I can get to play more with them, even though I live 7 hours away now ;-j

From the obscure suburbs of Oslo comes a greengrass quintet called Gunerius Quack Och Dom Andra. Using guitars, organ, trumpet, banjo, mandolin, violin, flute, percussion, drums, bouzoki, sax, bass, lap steel, vocals and several different oriental instruments. - We try to draw the lines to a culture that never has existed. Creating a varied audience response from apathic tendenses to extatic, almost ritual dancing.

Gunerius Quack Och Dom Andra belongs undeniably to the vissible/invissible folk-movement, with a strong link to Lau Nau, Islaja, Kiila, Kemialliset Ystävät, Vashti Bunyan, Incredible String Band, John Fahey, Robbie Basho, Ravi Shankar, Bert Janch, Animal Collective and Devendra Banhart among others. But most of all Gunerius Quack och dom andra is Gunerius Quack och dom andra.

Their debut-album will be released on big heart records september of 2007.
